Taman Tasik Titiwangsa (Titiwangsa Lake Garden)

Titiwangsa Lake Garden, also known as Taman Tasik Titiwangsa, is popular among the locals of Kuala Lumpur because of its close proximity to the city centre. If you ever want a photo with the Petronas Twin Towers as the background, then visit the Titiwangsa Lake Garden. Here is also a great spot to see how fast the skyline of Kuala Lumpur is changing. It provides a perfect retreat from the busy city life.

The park hosts a list of activities: horseback riding, kite flying, canoeing, boating, jogging and aqua biking. Located along the Jalan Tun Razak area, it is just walking distance from other tourist destinations such as the Istana Budaya and the National Art Gallery.

The most notable attraction in the Titiwangsa Lake Garden is the Restoran Nelayan, a floating restaurant serving seafood. Sit down and relax while enjoying the freshly prepared local dishes.

How to get there: The Titiwangsa Lake Garden is a 15-minute walk from the Titiwangsa Monorail Station. Walk along the Jalan Tun Razak walking towards Istana Budaya and then turn left into Jalan Kuantan.
